Ecopetrol said first-call meetings for holders of its 2010 and 2013 domestic bonds failed to secure the approvals needed for a merger proposal, triggering second-call meetings for both issuances. The Aug. 18, 2026 session for the 2010 bonds had no quorum, while the 2013 meeting had quorum representing 15.33% of the outstanding principal amount. Colombian rules require a first-call merger approval to win both a numerical majority of bondholders present and at least 80% of the outstanding principal amount of the relevant issuance.
