Interlace, a stablecoin (crypto token pegged to fiat) infrastructure platform, has opened an office in Brazil and formed a local team as it steps up its Latin America expansion. The company said it will connect local financial institutions, cross-border trade platforms, digital asset participants and Web3 (blockchain-based internet applications) projects to provide businesses with global payments and digital asset infrastructure support. Interlace also recently appeared at the Blockchain.RIO event in Rio de Janeiro, where Interlace Brazil country manager Guilherme Santos joined a panel discussion on digital assets, stablecoin payments and financial infrastructure. The company is also scheduled to attend the Crecimiento LATAM Digital Assets Conference in Argentina on August 20-21, where it plans to speak about its experience with global card issuance programs and its Latin America market strategy.
