SanDisk's SNDK perpetual contract on Binance traded more than $7.38 billion over 24 hours, ahead of Bitcoin at $6.11 billion and Ether at $4.57 billion, extending an earlier lead when SNDK was reported at about $6.37 billion against Bitcoin's $5.96 billion. The contract had already climbed to the exchange's third-largest perpetual by Aug. 17 with roughly $3.71 billion in daily volume and $1.73 billion in open interest, versus SPCX's $928 million and SKHX's $493 million, while SNDK rose to $1,693 before easing to $1,641, up more than 35% from a $1,213 low in less than two weeks. Binance data show traditional-finance contracts are taking a larger share of activity, with five of the top 10 perpetuals by volume in the latest 24 hours tied to equities, including SKHYNIX, KORU, SOXL and SPCX, and earlier readings showing 10 of the top 15 futures products linked to stocks or commodities. The trend coincides with Binance's June rollout of tokenized stocks under its bStock program, which earlier reporting said had become the second-largest tokenized-stock issuer by market capitalization on Aug. 13 at $610.6 million, or 22.1% of the sector, ahead of xStocks' $601.2 million and behind Ondo Finance's $951.8 million.
