Spot gold jumps 3% to $4,464, highest since June 5

Spot gold rose 3% during the day to $4,464 an ounce, its highest level since June 5, according to Bybit data cited by PANews on Aug. 19. New York gold futures also gained 3% to $4,521.30 an ounce, while spot silver climbed 3% to $65.22 an ounce.
