Allora Network moved its mainnet to version 0.17 on August 19, enabling its decentralized AI prediction protocol to return labeled outcomes alongside numerical values. The change allows models to express category-based forecasts, such as assigning probabilities to rain, snow and clear weather, instead of producing only a single scalar estimate. Existing topics using single-output predictions remain compatible through a migration path. The release also upgraded direct emissions integrations to version 10, refining token distribution mechanics linked to participation. Allora is a Cosmos SDK-based Layer 1 blockchain that coordinates independent machine-learning models through dynamic aggregation, weighting their predictions according to historical accuracy. Contributors can earn the native ALLO token, which launched with the mainnet in November 2025. Earlier in August, Allora introduced statistical tests for promoting workers, strengthening the process for selecting models that contribute to active topics. The v0.17 upgrade extends that quality-control approach by allowing vetted models to communicate richer results.
