Point72, the hedge fund founded by billionaire investor Steven Cohen, sold all 72,431 shares of Strategy (MSTR) held as of June 30 and initiated a 163,419-share position in Strive (ASST) valued at about $2.1 million. The transactions were disclosed in a quarterly 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Because 13F filings report quarter-end holdings rather than trade dates, the timing and reason for the change are not disclosed. Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, has become a major corporate Bitcoin holder, making its shares a Bitcoin-linked equity, while Strive offers ETFs and other investment products. The shift may reflect portfolio rebalancing or a move to reduce exposure to crypto-related volatility, but it is only one institutional investment signal.
