Nvidia is connecting companies seeking GPU capacity with Nordic data-center operators and certifying facilities through its DGX-Ready Colocation Data Center program. The certified operators are atNorth, Bulk Data Centers and Borealis Data Center. Their sites meet requirements for liquid cooling, component validation and ecosystem support, use 100% renewable energy, and benefit from cool climates and regional power resources. The initiative broadens Nvidia’s influence beyond its effective monopoly over advanced AI chips as demand for infrastructure accelerates. Nordic deployments include Crusoe’s August 2025 expansion of atNorth’s ICE02 facility with Nvidia DGX GB200 NVL72 systems and Blackwell GPUs, the OpenAI-backed Stargate project’s plan to deploy 100,000 Nvidia GPUs in Norway by the end of 2026, and a Verne-nScale project targeting approximately 4,600 Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs in Iceland through 2026.
