Indian fintech Navi is raising $100 million from Dutch technology investor Prosus NV in its first institutional funding round, a deal that values the company at about $1.3 billion according to the Economic Times and comes ahead of a planned initial public offering. A source familiar with the matter said Navi is seeking a valuation of about $2 billion in the IPO. Founded in 2018 by Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal, Navi offers digital payments, lending, mutual funds and insurance through a digital platform. The investment is subject to regulatory approvals, including from the Competition Commission of India.
