Bitcoin could rise to $100,000 by the end of 2026 as the U.S. Treasury expands liquidity support for the long-term government bond market, Standard Chartered Bank’s head of digital asset research Geoff Kendrick said in a recent client report cited by Cointelegraph. Kendrick identified $65,500 as Bitcoin’s key technical resistance level (a price barrier that can limit advances). A break above it could indicate that the market-cycle low has formed, he said, advising investors to begin positioning for Bitcoin to reach $100,000 by year-end. He also pointed to Bitcoin’s four-year cycle pattern and the Treasury’s recent announcement that it would expand long-term Treasury buybacks as important factors suggesting the market may be approaching a bottom.
