Coinbase will delist nine perpetual futures contracts at 1:00 p.m. UTC on Sept. 3, the exchange said on its official X account. The affected products are tied to Espresso (ESP), DoubleZero (2Z), RedStone (RED), AEVO, Aethir (ATH), Kaspa (KAS), SKY, POPCAT and BRETT. Coinbase described the action as part of its routine product review and did not provide specific reasons for each removal. Such reviews can consider compliance, liquidity and market demand, including low trading volume or regulatory concerns. The delisting applies only to perpetual futures, not spot trading. Traders with open positions should close them before the deadline because Coinbase may automatically close or settle remaining positions under its standard procedures. The move could cause short-term volatility as traders adjust positions, although its broader effect may be limited because the contracts represent only part of Coinbase's overall trading activity.
