XRP remains near $1 and has fallen almost 10% over the past month despite modest weekly gains among peer crypto assets. Reserves on Upbit, Binance and Bithumb declined by roughly 240 million XRP from late-May and early-June levels to Aug. 19, dropping from about 11.08 billion to 10.84 billion, or 2.2%. Upbit remained the largest holder, while Upbit and Bithumb together accounted for nearly 76% of the tracked reserves. Over the past seven days, Binance recorded the largest net XRP outflow at $32.32 million, followed by Upbit at $23.94 million, Coinbase at $8.12 million and Bybit at $6.91 million, according to The Crypto Basic citing CoinGlass. Coinbase, Binance and Crypto.com also recorded negative seven-day net wallet counts as of Aug. 18. Meanwhile, XRP Ledger transactions exceeding $1 million jumped 280% in one day to nearly 40, wallets holding 10 million to 100 million XRP accumulated about 72 million tokens, and active addresses reached nearly 50,000 over 24 hours last week. The activity may reduce XRP immediately available for sale or reflect accumulation, but exchange outflows do not guarantee a price rebound, while social sentiment fell to a three-month low.
