Webull reported record second-quarter 2026 revenue of $198 million, up 51% year over year from the prior year, surpassing Wall Street consensus of $194.5 million. Equity and options trading generated $112 million, or about 56% of total revenue, while cryptocurrency trading contributed $2.25 million, representing a little over 1%. During the earnings call, President and director Anthony Michael Denier said the company was in the process of gradually rolling out crypto deposit and withdrawal capabilities and noted that for the first time in nine months the company was starting to see the clouds start to part in the crypto business. The platform’s results contrast with those of Robinhood, which also posted record quarterly results on July 30 but reported a 38% decline in cryptocurrency transaction revenue to $100 million from about $160 million a year earlier. Cointelegraph has approached Webull for more details about its cryptocurrency trading revenue compared to previous quarters. Webull’s stock price rose 8.9% on Wednesday and was up nearly 15% in pre-market activity on Thursday, changing hands at $9.98 a share as of 10:37 am UTC.
