Strive, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASST) is expanding its Bitcoin treasury through a 400 BTC purchase funded by its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, which trades under the ticker SATA and pays an annualized dividend of approximately 13%. The company held 20,246 BTC as of mid-August 2026 according to one reported figure, while another placed its holdings between 19,000 and 20,000 BTC, reflecting differing snapshots or reporting estimates. Bitcoin’s recent price increase lifted the value of Strive’s reserves by roughly $68.8 million to between $1.3 billion and $1.4 billion. Strive’s holdings grew from about 5,000 BTC at the end of 2025 through purchases including 2,500 BTC acquired between May 23 and June 1 at an average price of $74,092, 759 BTC in June, 147 BTC from August 3 to 7, 79 BTC from August 10 to 14, and the latest 400 BTC purchase. SATA, launched in an oversubscribed November 2025 IPO that raised roughly $149 million to $160 million, allows Strive to conduct at-the-market offerings when the preferred stock trades above its $100 par value. The company manages more than $2 billion to $2.5 billion as a registered asset manager and holds more than $150 million in cash liquidity. Its Bitcoin-focused strategy leaves its stock sensitive to Bitcoin prices and forms part of the corporate treasury trend popularized by MicroStrategy.
