Hyperliquid Strategies Inc. (NASDAQ: PURR) rose more than 6% in one session and nearly 45% over the week, approaching $10 as HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid blockchain, has reached a new all-time high following mid-June highs. The surge is attributed to institutional capital inflows, buyback and burn mechanisms, and regulatory optimism surrounding the platform’s potential U.S. compliance. Prediction-market odds for HYPE reaching $100 by Dec. 31, 2026, have increased to 44.5%. Hyperliquid Strategies holds roughly 18.8 million HYPE tokens worth well over $1 billion at current prices, alongside cash reserves, zero debt and no preferred obligations. The company also pursues staking and yield optimization, has authorized up to $30 million in stock buybacks, disclosed a position held by the Duquesne Family Office associated with Stanley Druckenmiller, and was included in the Russell 3000 and Russell 2000 indices. The broader rally included Ethereum’s 19% gain while Bitcoin remained relatively stable. Hyperliquid operates as a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain focused on decentralized trading infrastructure, particularly perpetual futures.
