Gaon Cable, a subsidiary of LS Cable & System, secured a 200 billion won ($143.4 million) busduct supply deal with a major U.S. cloud operator for a 250-megawatt artificial-intelligence data-center project. Its U.S. manufacturing subsidiary, LS Cable & System USA, will deliver the high-capacity power-distribution systems in phases through next year. Gaon Cable is also discussing an additional contract worth two to three times the current order. Separately, Eunseong FA, a subsidiary of South Korea’s KOSDAQ-listed KNS, secured an order for automation equipment used in busduct production for U.S. AI data centers. The developments underscore growing demand for power infrastructure and manufacturing automation as hyperscalers expand energy-intensive AI facilities.
