Singapore-based blockchain platform DigiFT has signed a memorandum of understanding with Arco, an institutional onchain operating infrastructure provider, to expand the distribution of tokenized real-world assets to institutional investors across Asia. South Korea will be the initial market, reflecting its dynamic digital asset sector, sophisticated investor base, growing institutional interest and progressively clarifying regulatory stance. DigiFT plans to connect its regulated marketplace with Arco's Issuer OS and institutional capital-routing infrastructure to create a compliant distribution framework linking traditional financial products with onchain capital markets. The nonbinding MOU is not an acquisition or merger, and the companies will explore joint opportunities. A successful implementation could provide a model for expansion into other Asian markets, including Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, while addressing institutional concerns around custody, settlement and legal clarity.
