Talent Protocol, a professional network that lets talent launch branded personal tokens and enables sponsors to make angel investments in careers they support, has been acquired by Interplanetary Talent Services (IPTS) with support from Protocol Labs. Talent Protocol will end its commercial operations, while its self-service Builder Score app becomes a public product running locally in users’ browsers. The score will draw on public data from GitHub and four blockchains, with verifiable calculations and the option for builders to publish proofs on Base. IPTS will obtain 6.6 million verified developer profiles and 86 million activity records to support recruitment in AI, crypto, hardware, life sciences and other frontier technology fields. The TALENT token and Talent Protocol’s legal entity are excluded from the transaction.
