SANY Group shipped its first batch of SKT110Ei pure-electric autonomous mining trucks to South America on Aug. 12, 2026, marking the company’s first autonomous mining truck project and deployment of its autonomous mining solution in Latin America. The project combines an autonomous truck fleet, roadside infrastructure, cloud-based intelligent dispatching and localized operations and maintenance services. SANY says the system is intended to improve safety, reduce operating costs and increase efficiency amid difficult mining conditions, haulage risks, operator shortages and rising labor costs. As of July 2026, SANY Intelligent Mining had deployed more than 300 autonomous mining trucks, which had recorded more than 13 million kilometers of safe operation and transported over 41 million cubic meters of earth and rock.
