Homeplus will not reach profitability until 2029 under its revised rehabilitation plan, reversing earlier expectations of a quick return to the black. The company projects an operating loss of 10.3 billion won ($7.4 million) on sales of 3.38 trillion won for the year ending February 2028. For the following year, it forecasts sales rising 22 percent to 4.12 trillion won and operating profit reaching 124.2 billion won.
