Bitcoin's latest daily closing-price increase reached 5.8 standard deviations relative to its 30-day volatility, according to Glassnode, making it the largest upward volatility move since October 2023. The firm said the last similarly significant daily gain came in February of this year, when Bitcoin primarily rebounded after falling 14% the previous day. Unlike that episode, the latest increase was not a technical rebound following a crash.
