TWSE promotes Taiwan listings through Tokyo summit and Taipei forum

The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) pursued listing and investment opportunities through two August 2026 initiatives: its August 18–19 participation in the Taiwan-Japan Startup Summit in Tokyo and the August 20 Quality Enterprises Capital Market Launch Forum in Taipei. In Tokyo, the TWSE promoted Taiwan’s capital market and Taiwan Innovation Board (tib-創) to Japanese startups, venture investors and industry partners, encouraged Japanese companies to consider Taiwan fundraising and listings, and co-hosted The Physical AI Super Club with SparkLabs Taiwan. In Taipei, the TWSE and KGI Securities provided companies with guidance on listing routes, applications and market advantages. TWSE Listing Department I manager Chen Yi-Cheng said Taiwan’s stock market capitalization was approximately NT$146.8 trillion, or about $4.6 trillion, and that the exchange aims to help transform Taiwan into an Asian Asset Management Center. The TWSE said relaxed Taiwan Innovation Board rules, shorter listing review timelines, stronger corporate governance requirements and expanded international connectivity are intended to attract more domestic and overseas companies and strengthen Taiwan’s role in Asian and global financial markets.
