Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said on Fox Business that Bitcoin is highly likely to reach between $300,000 and $400,000 in the next few years, citing 2030 as a reference point. He said bitcoin may be on the verge of its next bull market, that the current bear market appears to be nearing an end, and that a full-fledged rally is likely after a Clarity Act vote scheduled for Sept. 15. Bitcoin recently rose 10% over 24 hours after moving above $72,000. Armstrong said the U.S. was moving in the right direction on crypto legislation after President Donald Trump hosted crypto executives, traditional finance leaders and senior SEC and CFTC regulators at the White House. The long-delayed Clarity Act would set rules for classifying digital assets as securities, commodities or payment stablecoins; its path has been slowed by a bank-crypto dispute over stablecoin yield, though Armstrong said several banks support the bill.
