Securitize’s tokenized SECZ shares are now available on Loopscale’s on-chain credit markets on Solana, allowing eligible holders to post the shares as collateral and borrow stablecoins at fixed rates without selling their position. The tokens represent the same common stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange, with ownership maintained through Securitize’s SEC-registered transfer-agent infrastructure. Securitize became publicly traded under the SECZ ticker on July 2, 2026, and offered eligible U.S. investors access to tokenized shares from the first day of trading. The company said the move made it the first newly public company to tokenize its own stock at launch and indicated SECZ could become the world’s largest tokenized public stock based on expected shareholder participation. The Aug. 20 integration extends the shares’ use from ownership and transfer into on-chain credit. It follows Securitize’s Aug. 18 launch with Neuberger Berman of a tokenized high-yield fixed-income fund. Securitize said Solana hosts about $3.8 billion in distributed tokenized assets. Use of SECZ as collateral remains limited by eligibility requirements and applicable regulation, while broader adoption will depend on liquidity, regulatory conditions and institutional-scale market activity.
