Elon Musk is reportedly preparing to spend between $100 million and $200 million through America PAC to boost Republican voter turnout in Texas and other key states. The effort could support Texas Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton, who trails Democratic opponent James Talarico in fundraising, and comes after Musk spent $290 million to help re-elect President Donald Trump, according to Sen. Bernie Sanders. Sanders called the proposed spending an oligarchic threat to democracy and renewed his calls to end Citizens United, ban super PACs and remove billionaires from elections. Musk has moved Tesla, SpaceX and X headquarters to Texas, built manufacturing and employee housing facilities there, and established his personal base near Austin. The Texas Senate race market currently shows Republicans at 49% YES, while Musk's broader political spending reportedly includes Maine, Ohio, Alaska and Iowa. Investors and observers will watch polling, fundraising, turnout operations, Democratic strategy and potential backlash during the next 75 days before the election. Musk has also donated $10 million to Fight for Kentucky, a super PAC backing Republican Senate candidate Nate Morris.
