KuCoin Web3 Wallet has integrated Robinhood Chain’s mainnet, allowing users to store, transfer and interact with digital and tokenized real-world assets through a non-custodial wallet while retaining control of their private keys. The Ethereum-compatible layer-2 network adds access to decentralized finance applications and expands KuCoin’s multichain offering. Robinhood Chain’s focus on issuing, managing and trading tokenized financial assets comes as the RWA market exceeded $20 billion in total value locked earlier this year, according to BlockchainReporter’s weekly tokenization roundup. The integration gives Robinhood Chain a self-custody distribution channel, although questions remain about its consensus mechanism, validator set, settlement finality, decentralization and cross-chain security. Regulatory uncertainty also persists as the SEC and international regulators assess whether tokenized shares offered through wallets constitute regulated activity.
