Korea Aerospace Industries (047810.KS), or KAI, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute for National Security Strategy (INSS) on the 20th to deepen global security analysis and defense policy cooperation. Announced on the 21st, the partnership will combine KAI's aerospace and defense expertise with INSS's security and policy research capabilities. The organizations plan joint research, policy and academic exchanges, regulatory studies, and seminars with domestic and overseas research institutes, experts and think tanks. INSS will assess how changing international conditions affect the Korean defense industry and examine the policy and diplomatic environments of potential export markets. KAI intends to use the findings to strengthen technological competitiveness and refine its overseas expansion strategies.
