Gate launches Japan stock trading with about 300 TSE-listed shares

Gate has launched Japan stock trading, initially covering about 300 shares listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), including Toyota Motor, Sony Group, SoftBank Group, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Nintendo and Tokyo Electron. Users can access the service through Gate using USDT without opening a separate traditional Japanese brokerage account or exchanging currency into yen. The service is available on Gate Web, while the app version is scheduled to launch soon. Japanese stocks use the same stock account and related trading capabilities as Gate's U.S., Hong Kong and South Korean stock services, including market-data viewing, buying, selling, portfolio management and transaction-history checks. Trading is available during Japan's 09:00–11:30 and 12:30–15:25 sessions, corresponding to 08:00–10:30 and 11:30–14:25 in UTC+8. The launch expands Gate's global multi-asset offering to more than 10,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, over 1,500 Hong Kong stocks, more than 1,000 South Korean stocks and about 300 Japanese stocks, for more than 12,800 stocks and ETF assets in total. Gate said it will continue expanding into major global markets and adding selected assets to support closer integration between traditional finance and digital assets and provide users with more diversified, one-stop asset-allocation options.
