OpenRouter has listed Ox Alpha, an anonymous frontier AI model designed for coding, long-running agent work and real production environments. It supports a 1 million-token context window and text, image and video inputs. The model is currently available for free testing, and its provider says user prompts and outputs will not be used to train the model. Ox Alpha’s identity has not been disclosed, although the community widely suspects it may come from Xiaomi’s MiMo team. Xiaomi CFO Lin Shiwei previously said a next-generation MiMo model was being trained and could be released soon. Anonymous launches on OpenRouter have become a recurring route for Chinese model developers, following earlier free tests involving Zhipu’s GLM-5, Xiaomi’s MiMo-V2-Pro and MiMo-V2-Omni, Ant Group’s Ling-2.6-flash and Meituan’s LongCat-2.0 before their identities were made public.
