Wonik Materials is projected to generate ₩106.3 billion (approximately $77.0 million) in operating profit in 2027, roughly double last year's ₩56.5 billion (approximately $40.9 million), according to Shinhan Securities. The brokerage raised its 2027 revenue and operating profit estimates by 3.4% and 5.9% to ₩495.1 billion (approximately $358.5 million) and ₩106.3 billion, respectively, as a projected memory upcycle drives customer capacity expansion and higher wafer input volumes from the second half of this year. The broader expansion is also supporting South Korean suppliers involved in SOCAMM2, Nvidia's low-power DRAM server-module standard. The SOCAMM2 market is expected to grow from 300 billion won this year to 700 billion won next year, with substrate makers benefiting first and back-end suppliers expected to see stronger volumes from the end of this year. Samsung Electronics accounts for 80% of Wonik Materials' revenue, while rising DXI and DDR5 spot prices suggest physical memory-market conditions remain firm despite logistics and oil-price pressures.
