Solana-based meme coin CATE surpassed an $80 million market capitalization, reaching $80.26 million after rising more than 48% in 24 hours, according to GMGN data monitored by ChainCatcher. Earlier, CATE’s market value had rebounded above $35 million and was later reported at $33 million, with its daily gain exceeding 140%. The move followed a clarification from DOGE’s owner that CATE has no connection with them and that they recognize only DOG and COCORO as official projects. ChainCatcher warned that meme coins can have limited practical use cases and experience sharp price swings, urging investors to exercise caution.
