US-listed Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs attracted a combined $2.6 billion in the week reported on August 23, their strongest week since October 2025 and the largest single-week net inflows for both product groups in 2026. Bitcoin funds took in about $1.9 billion and Ethereum funds about $697.2 million, reversing a prior-week combined outflow of roughly $392 million in a week-over-week swing of about $3 billion. Combined trading volume more than doubled to $29 billion, with Bitcoin ETF volume rising from $6.9 billion to about $22.1 billion. Combined net assets climbed from $76.6 billion to $96.1 billion, and cumulative Bitcoin ETF net inflows since launch reached about $53.7 billion. The rebound contrasted with roughly $10.9 billion in August 2026 outflows from the Invesco QQQ Trust, even as other US spot altcoin ETFs also posted weekly inflows.
