ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood said artificial intelligence could turn the loss of entry-level corporate jobs into an "entrepreneurial explosion," urging new graduates to start companies with AI as their only employee. Her comments backed Elon Musk’s proposal to use xAI’s Grok agent tools to create an "instant one-person company." Wood noted that only about 10% of startups survive but said the experience can help founders demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills to future employers. The comments come as recent college graduate unemployment stood at about 5.6% in the second quarter and underemployment reached 42%, while global youth unemployment was reported at 12.4%. Wood’s enthusiasm also reflects ARK’s investments in Musk-led companies, including Tesla and Space Exploration Technologies Corp., or SpaceX.
