The survey by Brazilian research firms Paradigma and Datafolha estimated that the country has about 29 million crypto investors. Crypto ranked as Brazil's fifth-most-used investment vehicle, behind savings, real estate, cash holdings and investment funds, but ahead of bank time deposits at 15.1%, foreign currencies at 14% and gold at 9.8%. Among crypto investors, 83% used banking apps, while 26% used self-custody wallets (wallets controlled directly by users) and 20% used exchanges.
