IDnow Trust Services AB, IDnow’s qualified trust service provider, has received certification to issue qualified electronic attestations of attributes (QEAAs), expanding the company’s digital-identity and fraud-prevention offering. The EU-wide recognized credentials can verify specific personal or organizational attributes, including residential addresses, tax identification numbers and professional certificates. They are electronically verifiable, machine-readable and reusable, and IDnow can integrate them into existing onboarding processes or issue them to the EUDI Wallet. The service is designed to address additional verification requirements under the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR), which requires obliged entities to collect and verify a broad range of customer attributes and credentials by July 10, 2027. IDnow said some national eID systems and EUDI Wallets may not provide all required attributes through standard Person Identification Data. Its service combines identity verification, attribute proofing and QEAA issuance through one accountable process. A QEAA-specific conformity assessment included onsite visits and evidence-trail reviews covering attribute proofing, technical issuance, lifecycle management and IT security under ETSI EN 319 401 and ETSI TS 119 471. The assessment concluded with zero non-conformities, and the resulting report was submitted to Sweden’s Post- och telestyrelsen (PTS), which is responsible for granting qualified status and the corresponding entry on the EU Trust List.
