Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP said Aug. 21, 2026, that a class action lawsuit had been filed against Photronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAB) on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Photronics securities between Dec. 10, 2025, and May 27, 2026. The complaint alleges that the company’s May 28 announcement of second-quarter fiscal 2026 results showed revenue and earnings well below internal projections, including an 11% sequential decline in IC revenue. It further alleges that a projected seasonal recovery after the Chinese New Year holiday failed to materialize because of extensive new-product launch delays, elevated fab utilization rates, and geopolitical uncertainty. Photronics shares fell more than 36% on May 28, according to the complaint. Investors seeking to serve as lead plaintiff must ask the court by Sept. 4, 2026; lead-plaintiff status is not required to participate in any potential recovery. Kaplan Fox, a complex-litigation firm founded in 1956, said it has recovered more than $10 billion for clients and represented classes in securities, antitrust, and consumer-protection cases.
