JPMorgan Chase has hired David Fishman from Bank of America as vice chair and head of its North America technology mergers and acquisitions business. Fishman, who is based in New York, will also join a newly formed technology M&A leadership and advisory council for the bank’s most important clients in the sector. He spent more than 15 years at Bank of America, where he most recently co-headed technology, media and telecommunications M&A and previously served as chief strategy officer for its investment bank. Vineet Seth will become a vice chair of investment banking and take a senior position on the council. The moves come as Bank of America continues to adjust its technology banking team and JPMorgan competes for senior advisory talent.
