Standard Chartered analyst Geoff Kendrick said Bitcoin could reach $100,000 by year-end if BTC holds above the key technical level of $65,500, which he said could confirm the cycle low. The expanded buyback program runs from Sept. 9 through Nov. 4. Metaplanet plans to contribute 2,100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash for a controlling stake in Nasdaq-listed Super League Enterprise, which will be renamed Superplanet. Cypherpunk Technologies acquired a Zcash mining fleet in a $33.33 million equity deal, giving it about 18% of the network's hashrate, while holding 323,394 ZEC and targeting 5% of circulating supply. Separately, the CFTC (U.S. derivatives regulator) is seeking comment on futures tied to AI computing capacity as CME Group targets an Oct. 5 launch, pending regulatory approval.
