Tesla will hold its Cybercab launch event in Austin, Texas, on Sept. 3, 2026, revising earlier expectations of a late-August or early-September debut. The company’s shares rose approximately 3% on Aug. 19 as anticipation built around the two-seat, artificial-intelligence-powered vehicle, which entered formal production in North America in April and is designed without a steering wheel, steering column, pedals, brake mechanism or side mirrors.
