Analyst Matthew Hyland compared June's altcoin pullback with the March 2020 market collapse, saying the latest market opportunity could produce returns of 10x to 1000x and that many tokens could recover within months rather than years. He cited Ethereum, Cardano and other altcoins, while noting that the recovery thesis is based partly on the speed of previous market rebounds rather than a specific price target. Bitcoin was above $76,000, up nearly 9% in 24 hours and more than 19% over seven days, while Ethereum traded near $2,400. XRP, Bitcoin Cash and Dogecoin also posted larger short-term gains. Other traders, including CrediBULL Crypto and Sykodelic, offered bullish outlooks but attached conditions to the market-bottom thesis. Hyland expects the rally to shift more attention toward altcoins and potentially become what he called the "most hated rally in Crypto history."
