The Binance futures trading account "韭韭金" ranked first in Binance’s 24-hour, seven-day and 30-day loss rankings after closing a 250-BTC short position and recording a $3.46 million loss, according to on-chain analyst Ai 姨. The account opened the short at an average price of $63,592 and closed it at 08:15 on the morning of Aug. 22 at an average of $77,758.91. It identified two mistakes: buying spot Bitcoin near $58,000 and selling at $64,000, thereby missing the subsequent market move, and placing short orders when conditions were unsuitable for chasing a decline without setting a reasonable stop-loss.
