Bithumb will suspend MED (MediBloc) deposits and withdrawals at 2:00 a.m. UTC on Aug. 20 for a planned MediBloc network upgrade, while Upbit will suspend META (Metadium) deposits and withdrawals at 12:00 a.m. UTC on Aug. 27 because of a project hard fork. Neither notice provides an end time. Upbit said services will resume after network stability is confirmed and will handle the fork automatically for META held on the exchange. Trading may continue during the Upbit suspension, but users will be unable to transfer META to external wallets or other exchanges. Users should complete transfers before the relevant cutoff and monitor official announcements for service resumption. Trading could also be paused or adjusted, while external-wallet transactions may face confirmation delays.
