Novifolium Ltd, a London-based company, is developing DREAMOSIS as a mobile interactive entertainment experience available on iOS and Android, alongside DREAMO, a collectible character designed to evolve across physical and digital forms. In the app, players combine a selfie, a photograph of a real-world object and a location-linked Dreamdrop to create a unique digital Relic and build a personal collection. DREAMOSIS uses images from everyday life as starting points for experiences in an evolving visual world, while Dreamdrops represent collectible discoveries tied to imagined versions of real places. The concept reverses the traditional path from story to character to toy by allowing real-world material to enter a digital universe, generate character interpretations and potentially return to the physical world. A Kickstarter campaign for DREAMOSIS and DREAMO collectibles has already begun that physical-digital expansion. Novifolium says generative technology may produce almost limitless variations, making the selection of specific editions for manufacture part of the collecting experience.
