Strategy Inc. executives sought to reassure an investor whose MSTR holdings had fallen sharply during the current bear market. Rob said during Monday’s Q&A with Strategy shareholders that he invested $73,000 in MSTR for each of his three children, but the combined $219,000 stake is now worth $60,000. CEO Phong Le said common shareholders remain the company’s top priority, while warning that MSTR is designed to provide amplified Bitcoin exposure, producing potentially larger gains in bull markets and steeper losses in downturns. Bitcoin is down 40% from its October 2025 all-time high, while MSTR has plunged 79% from its November 2024 record. Strategy Chair Michael Saylor said investors should plan for at least four years, ideally seven to 10, and be prepared for difficult periods. Strategy’s Bitcoin purchases have been paused for seven weeks despite $333.7 million raised through stock sales. The company used $132.2 million to repurchase STRC preferred shares, $52.4 million to pay STRC dividends and roughly $150 million to increase its dollar reserve. Bitcoin traded at $74,648.68, up 7.98% over 24 hours, while Strategy shares rose 1.35% after hours after closing 7.81% higher at $112.39. Benzinga’s Edge Stock Rankings show weaker medium- and long-term trends but strong short-term performance for Strategy stock.
