Virtuals Protocol has expanded its AI-agent tokenization system to Solana, letting users create tradable tokens tied to agents and connect them to wallets for payments and onchain activity. Announced around its August 24 ownership opening, the model uses Meteora’s Dynamic Bonding Curve for initial markets before tokens graduate to public liquidity pools, and its Automated Capital Formation (ACF) mechanism has raised more than $6.8 million for agents—capital formation rather than agent-generated revenue. EconomyOS can give agents operational and financial tools, but token holdings may confer economic exposure without control over wallets, software, or intellectual property. Security, liability, and whether agents can earn sustainable revenue beyond token trading remain open questions as the approach stays an early experiment.
