Alkane Resources Limited has appointed Dr Jennifer Purdie and The Hon. Gabrielle Upton as independent Non-Executive Directors to its Board, effective 24 August 2026. Purdie brings experience from BHP, Jemena, Adani and Rio Tinto and will join Alkane's Audit and Risk Committee and Technical Committee. Upton, a former Senior NSW Cabinet Minister with experience in banking, law, governance and regulation, will join the Nomination and Governance Committee and Remuneration Committee. Chairman Andy Quinn said their combined resources, capital-markets, regulated-operations and environmental experience would support Alkane's growth as a gold and antimony producer and its goal of delivering long-term value to shareholders and other stakeholders. Alkane operates the Tomingley, Costerfield and Björkdal mines in Australia and Sweden, continues near-mine exploration, and owns the Boda-Kaiser gold-copper porphyry project and the surrounding Northern Molong Porphyry Project in New South Wales.
