River estimates 49.6 million U.S. adults own Bitcoin

Nearly 49.6 million adults in the United States own Bitcoin, according to figures compiled by River, compared with 28.8 million who own gold. Bitcoin ownership therefore exceeds gold ownership by nearly 21 million adults.
