Phantom will end support for the Sui blockchain on September 24, 2026, after announcing the decision this week through its official X account and a dedicated help center article. After the cutoff, users will no longer be able to view Sui balances, send or receive SUI, execute in-app swaps involving Sui assets, or interact with Sui-based decentralized applications through the wallet, and Sui will be removed from the network list within the app. Phantom and Sui have decided to end Sui support on Phantom on September 24, leaving open the opportunity to explore other collaborations in the future. Funds remain safe and fully under user control on the Sui blockchain. Before the September 24 deadline, users can swap native SUI to wrapped SUI on Solana inside Phantom with no Phantom fee (network and exchange fees still apply) or to SOL, ETH, or USDC with standard fees, or export their recovery phrase from Phantom to import into another Sui-compatible wallet such as the Sui Foundation's recommended Slush. Phantom has warned that it will not proactively contact users requesting recovery phrases or private keys or offer to move funds, and any such outreach should be treated as phishing. The move mirrors Phantom's earlier end of support for Monad on August 26, 2026. Phantom integrated Sui in December 2024 and launched the feature on January 29, 2025, making it the first Move-based chain supported by the wallet. The company raised $150 million at a $3 billion valuation in an early 2025 Sequoia and Paradigm-led Series C round and reports over 15 million monthly active users and roughly $20 billion in annualized token swap volume. As of press time, SUI was trading at about $0.81, down 3.1 percent in 24 hours but up 20.8 percent over the past seven days, with a market capitalization of roughly $3.31 billion and 24-hour trading volume of about $621.9 million.
