Coinone joined WATERBOMB SOKCHO 2026 as the main title sponsor on Aug. 22, operating a two-story brand experience zone at Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano in Sokcho, Gangwon. The booth drew about 2,000 visitors with interactive games, prize draws and a members-only relaxation area. Participants received limited-edition merchandise and prizes ranging from 20,000 won to 1 million won ($14 to $725); an earlier account described the awards as Bitcoin exchange coupons worth 20,000 won, 100,000 won, 300,000 won and 1 million won, with the top amounts previously converted to about $720 and $216. The campaign extends Coinone’s primarily online virtual-asset services into offline spaces and follows a customer-acquisition push after Korea Investment & Securities and OKX each acquired stakes from Com2uS Holdings in May, giving the two investors a combined 20% holding. Coinone said it will continue broadening user touchpoints and strengthening its brand through online and offline activities.
