Gate recorded about $208 million in net reserve-asset inflows over the past seven days, ranking second among the platforms tracked by the ChainCatcher data dashboard, even as some major exchanges posted net outflows. The inflows coincided with Gate’s latest reserve disclosure, which showed total reserves of $8.215 billion as of Aug. 19, 2026, and overall coverage of 127%. BTC user assets rose to 22,436 coins against 27,550 BTC in platform reserves, producing a 22.79% excess-reserve ratio. ETH user assets reached 375,429 coins, while platform reserves rose to 458,203 ETH, for a 22.05% excess-reserve ratio. Combined user assets in USDT, USDC, USD1 and GUSD increased to $1.578 billion, compared with platform reserves of $1.761 billion, resulting in 111.63% coverage. Other major-asset reserve ratios included 131.15% for GT and 116.09% for XRP. The reserve expansion and positive inflow trend provide additional support for Gate’s liquidity and multi-asset services during a volatile market, although the flow data also shows that capital movements across exchanges remain uneven.
