ByteDance has launched Doubao Work as a standalone entry for its AI office business, with downloads available through the official website. Early testing indicates that it largely mirrors the desktop Doubao experience and existing Work Tasks features, including scheduled tasks, skills and connectors, cloud storage, and phone-based remote computer control. The product uses the existing Doubao subscription rather than a separate plan; the standard recurring monthly subscription remains 68 yuan, and work tasks use Doubao 2.1 Pro. The launch follows ByteDance’s integration of the TRAE and Coze teams into Doubao, with TRAE Work and Coze expected to contribute to workplace capabilities while TRAE IDE and CLI remain coding products under the Doubao brand. Deeper integration of TRAE Work, Coze and Feishu remains to be seen.
